Winner: Heath Harding, Dayton Christian (6,553 votes)
*Senior RB/DB scored seven TDs in a 72-40 win over Preble Shawnee. Harding carried the ball five times for 263 yards and five TDs. He also scored on a 46-yard interception return and an 85-yard kickoff return. Through two games, Harding has 18 carries for 484 yards (26.8 per touch) and eight TDs.



Runner-Up: Luke Bowling, Dixie (6,512 votes)
*Senior QB/DB dominated on both sides of the ball in leading the Greyhounds to their first win over Germantown Valley View since 1985. Dixie dominated 45-27. On offense, Bowling threw for 250 yards and three TDs and rushed for 110 yards. On defense he had three interceptions, one of which he returned for a TD.

Winner: New Lebanon Dixie (2,409 votes)
*The Greyhounds, who have had just one winning season since 1983, beat Germantown Valley View for the first time since 1985 (27 years) and did it convincingly 45-27. Senior QB Luke Bowling threw for 250 yards and three TDs and ran for 110 yards. He also intercepted three passes and returned one for a TD.

Runner-Up: Springboro (1,209 votes)
*The Panthers recorded what many consider the “Biggest Win” in program history with a 42-32 victory at tradition-rich Centerville. The Panthers were led by senior QB Jack Schaaf who completed 17-of-30 passes for 265 yards and two TDs and ran for 127 yards and two TDs on 15 carries. Boro has been to the playoffs before, but hasn’t been since bumping up to Division I in 2006.
