JJHuddle Podcast: Ohio Hoops Update

This week's edition of the JJ Huddle Power Podcast centers on the world of boys high school basketball, and we are prepared to entertain you thoroughly with three fresh interviews from a mixture of new and old guests. We will also illustrate in Dayton--as well as in southwestern Ohio in general--how ugly the post season is likely going to be in Division II.

First we bring you the head coach of Dayton Chaminade Julienne High School, Joe Staley.

Staley and his teams at CJ are legends in the Miami Valley and a quick look at our exclusive JJhd video from last week of the CJ--Chillicothe game will tell you why. They are fundamentally sound, and ultra-patient. They also have a star in their senior center, the 6-foot-five John Staley.

John is Joe's son and he, too is on this week's podcast. He will attend Northern Kentucky on a full-ride hoops deal next year.

We''ll discuss the lay of the land in the Dayton City League this season; next Friday's showdown with cross-town rivals Dayton Dunbar to be held at Wright State University's Nutter Center; what it was like to play the nation's number one most sought after recruit, Isaiah Austin (Baylor) of Arlington Grace Prep of Texas; what it was like to find out the power forward on that team (the #3 squad in America according to ESPN) was even more athletic than the main attraction; and much, much more.

We'll also hear him lob quite a compliment to the staff of the JJHuddle Power Podcast – Tim Langevin and Kurt Stubbs – need to pay special note to this one.
