14. Jason Bainum, Williamsburg, Football, 1998-2002: Bainum ended his career as one of the most prolific runners in state history. He owns three of the top five single game rushing performances, including the top spot with 532 yards against Clermont Northeastern his senior year. Bainum also ran for 498 and 475 yards in games as a junior. He is second (3,386 yards in 2001) and sixth (3,043 yards) on the single season rushing list and is the only player in state history with two 3,000-plus seasons. Bainum also ranks second on the career rushing list with 8,216 yards. That number ranks No. 22 in the national record books.

In addition. Bainum finished his stay ranked among the Top 20 in several other state record categories, including: rushing TDs in a season (No. 4 with 44), rushing TDs in a career (No. 5 with 104), points in a career (No. 6 with 660), points in a season (No. 8 with 290) and points in a game (No. 15 with 46).

Overall, Bainum rushed for 100 yards or more in 27 straight games – the second longest streak in state history.
