16. Barbara Turner, Cleveland East Tech, Basketball, 1999-2002: The Ms. Basketball award winner led East Tech to three straight state tournaments and the 2002 D-II state championship. En route to sweeping the state’s top team and individual awards her senior season, Turner averaged 23.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.1 steals per game. Turner was also named a McDonald’s All-American her senior year. After a four-year career and two national titles at UConn (where she scored over 1,600 career points), Turner was taken in the first round of the 2006 WNBA draft by the Seattle Storm.
