18. Jimmie Pacifico, Vandalia-Butler, Track & Field, 2003-2007: Pacifico dominated talk and attention his final two years of high school. As a junior he captured both the D-I shot put and discus titles en route to laying the groundwork for a sensational senior season. During his final spring, Pacifico set the Ohio all-time shot put record three straight meets, the final one producing his monstrous heave of 71’-6 ¼” at Piqua. That mark is the seventh best prep throw in U.S. history. Pacifico defended his D-I title as a senior with a state meet record heave of 69’-5 ¼”. In all, Pacifico threw over 70-feet seven times as a senior.
Pacifico competed for Baron Community College in Kansas last year.
