26. Lauren Prochaska, Plain City
Jonathan Alder, Basketball, 2003-2007: A
four-time first team All-Ohio selection, Prochaska averaged no less than 23
points per game throughout her career and averaged 32.3 ppg as a senior. Her
2,695 career points ranks sixth all-time. Prochaska was especially deadly at
the free throw line where her 841 career free throws is a state record. Her 263
free throws in 2006 is also the best single season mark ever. She’s also No. 4
(210 in 2006) and No. 5 (208 in 2004) on that list. A two-time D-III player of
the year, Prochaska led the Pioneers to the D-III Final Four as a freshman and
the D-III state title as a junior. Last season, Prochaska, now a junior at
Bowling Green, was named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year (as a
sophomore).
