27. Nate Davis, Bellaire, Football and Basketball, 2002-2006: Now a back-up QB with the San Francisco 49ers after a standout career at Ball State, Davis was a two-sport star for the Big Red. In football he completed 125-of-207 passes for 2,932 yards and 42 touchdowns as a senior en route to leading Bellaire to a 13-1 record and the state semifinals. For his career Davis threw for 7,348 yards and 83 touchdowns (both are Bellaire records). He also owns the school record for total career TDs (113). In basketball Davis ranks eighth on the state’s all-time scoring list with 2,562 points. As a senior he poured in 893 points, which was the second highest tally of the decade behind only the 1,102 scored by Jon Diebler his senior season. Davis also ranks fourth in state history in career rebounds with 1,186.
