29. Jeff Jaggers, Bedford St. Peter Chanel, Wrestling,
2000-2004: Before he became a two-time
NCAA national champion at Ohio State, Jaggers was making a name for himself at
Chanel. A four-time state champion, Jaggers finished his high school career
with a 172-3 record. En route to winning the NHSCA Wrestler of the Year award
in 2004, Jaggers capped an outstanding prep career by winning the NHSCA
National Senior Championship at 135 pounds and being named winner of the
tournament's Jeff Reese Outstanding Wrestler Award. Jaggers' impressive effort
at the tournament included dominating the nation's best in his weight class by
major decisions, technical falls and pins.
