Today we continue the countdown of JJHuddle's “Top 50 Ohio High School Athletes of the Decade” for 1999-2009. Every Monday through Friday from now until March 26, a new athlete will be released.

41. Whitney Meyers, Cincinnati Ursuline Academy, Swimming, 2000-2003: The state’s top winner of individual gold medals, Meyers won eight individual events and added three state championships on relay teams, for a grand total of 11 titles. When she ended her career, Meyers was in the national high school record book three times (was seventh in the 200-yard freestyle, and has the fifth and tenth in the 100-yard butterfly). She still owns the state record in the 200 free (1:47.19).
