Today's entry is currently one of the most dominant women's college
basketball players in Big Ten history. She wasn't too bad in high
school either.

42. Jantel Lavender, Cleveland Central Catholic, Basketball, 2003-2007: The two-time reigning Big Ten Player of the Year at Ohio State, Lavender was named Ohio’s Ms. Basketball in 2007 when she led CCC to its first state championship. In the two D-III state games, Lavender dominated with 37 points, 23 rebounds and 11 blocks. A McDonald’s, Parade and USA Today All-American as a senior, Lavender ended her career with 1,978 points, 1,278 rebounds and 527 assists. She became CCC’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder as a junior. Lavender was a four-time All-Ohio selection (first team as senior and junior, second team as sophomore and freshman).
