After sprinting out to an 11-0 lead at the end of the first quarter, Central Catholic actually trailed 18-17 in the second quarter before they went on to earn a hard-fought 45-38 victory and claim the D-III state championship. Chall Montgomery led the Ironmen in scoring with 16 points as Central Catholic won the school's first-ever state title.
