Jerry Francis, a former Ohio State basketball player, has been selected as the new boys basketball coach at Pickerington Central, according to The Columbus Dispatch. Francis brings plenty of coaching experience at the collegiate level, having served as head coach at Prairie View A&M and as an assistant at Oregon State, Nebraska, Houston, Ball State, Ohio State, Wyoming, Butler and Bowling Green. Former coach Jerry Groves resigned in March after five seasons. Francis scored 1,486 points for the Buckeyes. |
