Liberty Union finds hoops coachPosted by Brad Morris on May 22, 2010 at 11:49 pm
Liberty Union has hired Gary Lecrone to be its boys basketball coach, according to the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette. Lecrone coached at Berne Union from 1997-2002 and posted a 50-77 record. He inherited a program that had lost 40 consecutive league games, but a year later had the southern Fairfield County school in its first district tournament appearance in two decades. Lecrone has since run a youth basketball organization and coached the past three seasons in Fairfield Union's middle school program. |
