The Bexley boys basketball team denied Newark Catholic a perfect season and claimed a share of the Mid-State League Ohio Division crown with the Green Wave with a 56-50 win in a makeup game. Bexley (18-2, 13-1) rattled off 12 straight points in the fourth quarter to take a 51-47 advantage over the Green Wave (18-1, 13-1).
The Lions put four players into double figures, led by Reuel Rogers scoring 14 points. |
