One of the most well known last names in Ohio is Kellogg, and once again, another member of the famed Kellogg family will be playing D-I college basketball. Nick Kellogg (6’3/2010) of Columbus DeSales has committed to John Groce and Ohio University. Kellogg averaged 16.7 points per game as a junior earning second team Division II All-Ohio in leading the Stallions to the D-II state tournament. Kellogg will be joining his brother Alex, who is red-shirting this year. Alex started his collegiate career at Providence. Nick’s father, Clark, is one of the all-time greats in Ohio High School history playing at Cleveland St. Joseph’s then to Ohio State and on to the Indiana Pacers. Nick’s father is now the lead color commentator alongside Jim Nantz for CBS’ NCAA March Madness. |
