Northland’s Trey Burke today has committed once again.
Burke (6’0/2011) has verbally committed to the University of Michigan to play for Head Coach John Beilein.
This time it’s final.
“Yes, this will be the last time,” Burke’s father joked.
Burke took a visit to Ann Arbor on Wednesday with his mother, and the Wolverines officially offered. It was just too good to pass up.
Burke averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 assists, 2.6 steals, and 2.2 rebounds a game as junior in helping lead the Vikings to the Nation’s No. 1 ranking for a good portion of the season. He led the teams in three points with 40 making 49 percent of his attempts, and owned a 4 to 1 assists to turnover ratio.
Burke selected Michigan over Cincinnati along with Iowa, Providence, and Miami (FL).
