Surprised? I'm not. He'll get away with it -- he always does.

Really? Get away with what? You guys can talk all you want about the POTUS and his culpability but the bottom line is that the purse strings belong to congress. Heard anything about Cantor lately?

They have already said we don't know how to understand what we read. This seems to be a standard answer from the white house. Then they just go quiet and things will be just go away as it seems to time and again. I would list them but I would be told I am just bringing up passed history and it will not change anything now.

What an incredibly narrow minded, shallow, dismissive, arrogant, ignorant, and partisan opinion.

I'm at a loss for an adjective to describe it.

The same story is out in several different media outlets. I'm sure you people can find one that doesn't induce whining on your part.

I'm sorry, Rip. I should've been clearer. He will not get called on the carpet for playing politics over the impact of the cuts.

I'd concur in principle but the biggest whiners and predictors of catastrophe are the Military and right wing GOP militarists.

The Sec of Homeland Security coming in second.

I'd say the President did a pretty good job of predicting catastrophe.

Not to hard to predict catastrophe with Obama. That's his game plan.

i mean, what's new here?

obama is purely status quo ante nothing to see, move along people.

kim jung un wants to play hoops with him and he won't even listen to dennis rodman.

so now we just send Micheal and Scottie and Phil Jackson, and world peace is at hand.

Send Shaquille, who can dunk kim jun ung whatever his name is.

tell kim jung to lose the mao tse tung haircut.

He would look a lot better in a mullet.

Consider the Washington Post as MSNBC with regard to their general political position and consider the Washington Times as from another political view. There, now we can get back to our regular arguing . I would have to say, however, that for me personally the Post is more my style than the Times, which was begun as a religious "protest" of sorts.

Why do you think we're prodding N. Korea with the annual military excercise ? They have already started their rhetoric about invading....and nuclear weapons.Perfect cannon-fodder for some war-mongering senator ! He'll be rearing his ugly side anyday now and try to sway public opinion on defense budget cuts.
