Default Three Weeks Since Mitt Spoke to a Reporter - 10-31-2012, 08:06 PM

Here's why:

"New Jersey, I think."

Talkin' about the good folks of Cape Cod (sounds like a Bob Dylan song from the early 60's) he commented on how they had helped Katrina victims with donations of food and tv's.

Finally, talking about the relief effort for Sandy and commenting on how it reminded him of how he and some other guys had cleaned up a football field one day of paper products.

You can hate Obama for whatever reasons you want. Mitt simply ********** at this. You all should be glad he's going down. Gives the Republicans a chance to gargle, rinse and clean the palette and figure out what the hell they really want in a candidate. They came as close as possible this year of pulling it off with an empty vessel but I just can't see it happening.

If somehow he does, Hillary is throwing in the bullpen and Bubba would love to go one more round. Barack can write his book(s) and watch his daughters grow up.

If Don Meredith is watching this in Heaven he is just about ready to break into song.

(How surreal that the governor of N.J., the GOP's best candidate, is out with Obama planning the massive recovery while Mitt is dodging questions about FEMA.)

Bevo,

I think that you echo what many out there are thinking. Romney just doesn't look Presidential to me and his handlers can't walk with him if (God help us) he actually sells the country a bill of right wing goods on TV while he trumpets the "new liberal" views he has picked up in the last five minutes or so on his campaign stops.

I thought in 2008, that then candidate Obama had a much more sensible approach to getting us out of the total economic mess that we were in and I think he has, without question, done that. The opposition is still trumpeting 8% unemployment and is now saying that the auto bail-out was pro Chinese. Does the Romney camp really think that, or is it just another lie? After-all, what's one more when they have based an entire campaign on them for what now seems like years. If one thing isn't working, just make something else up and and send it out over the airways in mass quantities, hoping that eventually it will wear down the public and they will vote for him just to shut the right wing up.

No one on the Left side of this campaign has said that the President hasn't made mistakes but here is what I truly believe. If the President had had a strong first debate the glimmer of hope that the right keeps telling us is a victory for liberal, conservative, moderate "Mitt" Romney would not even be a point of discussion, and the fact of the matter is that Romney is still scary because of who many folks in the moderate population believe this man will do. I mean, if you have really been listening to "Mitt", he truly believes that the 19th century is where we should be living.

This former Republican can't possibly vote for Romey/Ryan. I think eight years is a fair test as to how far the President's recovery plan will carry us. (And we certainly know where eight years of Republican economic policies carried us prior to the 2008 switch.) To me, there is no question who can better lead us back.

It's been 7 1/2 weeks since the Butcher of Benghazi started lying to us.

Shouldn't you be a tad more concerned about that?

We're not freaking out, we're giddy with anticipation! This long nightmare is almost over.

We'll give you a week to adjust while we party our arse off. Please try and refrain from tearing stuff up. ;)

Romney doesn't look presidential? Perception is everything, isn't it. I think that Obammy looks and sounds so UN-Presidential. I love it when he slips into his "street talk" -- that really reminds of some of our greatest Presidents. Tuesday is coming. I can't wait. Even if we lose there'll be a silver lining -- we'll know for sure when we get rid of this media-spun sham.

Well...the 2001 looting of the Whitehouse is certainly still fresh in our minds. Perhaps nothing will happen. I hope you're right. However, your peeps sure are vocal about going all gangsta on us. ;)

Actually, no. Some of us Republicans brimmed with pride that our country had finally elected an African American. I bought my liberal friends line that "he'll govern from right center" or "he'll unite the country" or "he'll work with everybody". Well, shortly after he took office, it was "get in the back seat" and 'my way or the highway".

As we know, he's been the most divisive president in decades and the most far left ever. So, no, there were no tears. As far as this time around -- no, it likely won'g greatly impact my life either. My unborn grandchildren? Yes. That's what this fight is about, in my opinon.

who's freaking out?
We knew in 10 the republicans would easily win in 12... nothing has changed except the liberal desperation

they are so desperate they turned a big storm into a reason to vote for Obama... sad... but not surprising
Sandy is the last, desperate hope of the democrats...

Why on earth would Romney change what he's been doing? dude is easily pulling away... I'm starting to think my 338 prediction is low!

Isn't that funny -- alot of you folks think us folks take that as an insult. As my granddad always said: It depends on what side of the street you are standing on as to whether you're an idiot, or not.

I was greatly surprised the other day I was traveling around and through one of the poorer counties in Ohio. A county that has many people using the aid the govt gives out to help poor people, and yet by my count the Romney signs in yards out numbered the Obama signs about 8 to 1. I can tell you this was not that way 4 Years ago. God bless the Rednecks.
