*Donovan Wilson, Dublin Jerome

*Dominick Orsini, Akron Archbishop Hoban

It’s the third time this season Vance has scored six TDs in a game. Vance, who carried the ball 25 times against TSJ, also had 28 yards receving to give him 404 total yards. The old Findlay single-season rushing record of 1,584 was set by Shaun Ball in 1997.

All impressive stats, and it may be a homerish opinion...but returning 3 kicks for TD's in a game is a rarity and should be recognized.
I'm voting for WLS' Ross Hickenbottom.

Wilson of Jerome carried the ball 59 times, a state record and 8th all-time nationally..........I don't care what level you play at, that alone should win it.

They need ton find a way to block people from clearing their cookies and voting multiple times. I'm confident if it were an honest vote, WLS Ross Hickenbottom would be well ahead. We've had the whole conference voting for him and the # hasn't jumped every :15 seconds for the last 2 days.
Way to taint a HS award guys. Teaching the youth of America well.

1800 legit votes? Because from the time I logged on this morning until now, the guy from Findlay has jumped over 2000 votes. Kids need to learn that it's okay to cheat to win. I got it. I'll be sure to raise my children accordingly.

WLS_Color Please do not take this as a challenge and continue to respond. I am writing this simply to address the concerns that you brought up, in order to allievate you of them. Findlay has a student body of nearly 2000 students; not counting teachers, suport staff, parents and the other fans in the community. Once people heard about this honor (today) potentially coming to a great kid, one of the leaders of our team, and someone who is putting up fantastic numbers even in the tough games (over 200 yards rushing in a loss to Whitmer) they jumped on board to support him. Knowing this, a jump by 2000 since this morning is really not that tough to do. It has been the talk of the high school today and people are encouraging each other to vote for Vance. In an age of smart phones kids can do it in between classes. On that same subject, I am sure that your fans may be as guilty of what you are talking about, as ours may be, otherwise you probably would be unaware of it. I was unaware of the way to cheat the system until you told me. Regardless of what may or may not be occuring in the voting, lets try to be focused on the intent of this award. It is meant to be a positive recognition of the work of our student athletes and you are currently making it a negative event in their lives. Please try to stay positive and talk about something great your kid has done which may get others to vote for him.
