I voted for Bailey Breitenstine, Doylestown Chippewa. Big win for the Chipps, who hadn't won since October, 2009.

Toledo Whitmer's Nick Holley had an amazing performance against Findlay, who was picked pre-season as the TRAC winner and has only had one other loss (against Toledo Central Catholic, currently 7-0 and ranked first in Division II).

Nick's stats, leading his team to a 56-25 win, are particularly impressive when you recognize that Findlay is a very good team and was a worthy opponent.

Check out these two articles:
Toledo Blade:
http://www.toledoblade.com/HighSchoo...n-victory.html

The Courier (Findlay's newspaper):
http://www.thecourier.com/Issues/201...2,O ct,06&c=s

The nominee info above notes:
*Nick Holley, Toledo Whitmer
QB/DB ran for 324 yards and four TDs on 16 carries, threw for 121 yards and a TD and intercepted a pass in a 56-25 win over Findlay.

An excerpt from The Blade explains the "intercepted a pass" part:

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Holley ... stole a TD away from Findlay by outleaping the Trojans’ 6-7 wideout Joseph Davidson in the end zone for an interception.

Toledo Whitmer is a very complete, balanced team, but on Friday, October 5, 2012, Nick Holley had a simply incredible game.

Bayle Wolf only had eight carries at 35.4 yards per carry and score on 6 of the 8... he didn't even get to finish the 1st half.
I think he is very deserving this week.
