Amanda still sits in 11th in Region 15 so there is still an outside chance for the playoffs. This game is for pride and the seniors. Two big rivals that have had some memorable games over the years.

The 2001 thrashing that FU put on AC 35-0 as Amanda was enjoying back to back state titles. AC got revenge in '02 winning in the final seconds. AC was #1 in the state in '04 and again got thumped at FU 26-3. AC was 0-3 in '05 before upsetting the Falcons at FU. The Falcons return the favor by beating AC at AC in '06 before the Aces roll off 9 straight wins en route to a 12-2 finish and regional championship. AC has dominated this game the last couple of years but they must be ready because if there is one thing that will make the Falcons' season it is a win at AC!

Good luck AC!

Amanda has put up 81 points in 7 games and you are still talking about a chance at playoffs? 15 of those points came in overtime, with a very short field.

I wouldn't be surprised if AC ends up with less than 100 points for the season. Fairfield will only need to put up 14 points to win.

We must have a Jim Mora on here! Playoffs? You wanna talk about playoffs? It's an outside chance obviously but with three games to go there are so many things than can happen. If they win these next two and head to LE at 4-5 and LE sitting at 5-4, 6-3, or 4-5 there are some DIII points that could put them in. Again, a lot has to go their way for this to happen.

Back in 2005 AC went to TV with a 4-5 record and a win would have clinched a playoff berth with a 5-5 record. Big difference then was AC was DV back then and TV was DII. Things can get crazy in October.

I think AC will get their first league win tonight. They can contain Stewart (their coaches and schemes are still a great strength) so they'll figure that out. Could be a game of field goals, maybe 16-14 AC. If they can find the fire they had against the Indians, they can beat FU.

How is the injury report? Any better health at QB?

How far back do you have to go to see an AC team start 0-4 in the league? Tough times in Amanda.

Amanda Clearcreek will take this one by 10, but not without a few scares.

The Aces have been through their share of tribulation this year but things turn around tonight. Senior night, last time for these senior in the pit, EVER! I would not want to be the kids lined up across from Reid and Mets tonight, look for them to both play at an even higher level tonight, intensity off the charts.

To all AC seniors, leave it all on the field tonight gentlemen. You have worked so hard for so many years, this is your time. Can't wait to cheer for you tonight running onto the field. You are all great young men and it has been a pleasure watching you grow up and knowing everyone of you.

I'm gonna take the Aces (shocking I know!) by 3 scores.

it's my understanding that stewart won't be playing again this week. Without him, I think AC might have a shot, AC 16-14 With 3 field goals by that brown kid.

If Stewart is not playing, I would take AC 20-7. Good luck to all the kids for a successful injury free game.

29-19 ac. Ac actually put no players on the field. Creeksider just ran tradition out on the field and they won. Just too much tradition from ac tonight.

Stewart played, the Aces pretty much held him in check all night from what I saw.

Ac has a tough one next week, Carroll beat Cirleville tonight.....

Did Mauro out coach Heath? Did Carroll shut down Burroughs? Have not seen CVille but sounds like the QB is a beast, maybe they shut him down or they had a bad game.

It's been crazy...Cville didn't score an offensive TD on AC until the old "time out" call and then run QB around the end after the game was out of reach..CV was winning 12-3 at the time, with 9 seconds to go in the game.

How does AC have 6 or 7 tunrovers takes you guys (CW) into 4 overtimes, gets thumped by Hamilton and then CW thumps HT??? Been a crazy year, not only for the Aces...

If AC doesn't lose Smith (Starting QB) in pre-season and Tipton hobbly with a bad Ankle injury, the Aces would have been an entirely different team on offense this year. Oh well, it is what it is, it's hard to take but nothing you cando about it..
