That Erie must be the real deal and Ursuline is in trouble having lost 3 in a row. I don't know how Steubenville and Ursuline compare this year.

I'm not sure what the numbers look like, but if Big Red loses, they might not make the postseason. Brooke had a nice win tonight.

Is Steubenville home? I think Big Red get the win.

Erie generally has two (sometimes three) schools that are decent.

Erie Cathedral Prep is the private school that always does well. McDowell is the big suburban schools (4A in PIAA) and Erie Strong Vincent is the consistently decent city school (East and Central are the other two and generally not that good).

It's never a surprise to see Prep do well. Against OHSAA D1, they might have trouble, but against a smaller private school, you'd favor them. No different than when Ursuline would play St. Ed or Iggy.

Even if Steubenville loses this game, I still think they get enough points to make it at 8-2. A home game may be an issue, though.

We played Massillon tough for three-and-a-half quarters, albeit we were drubbed in the first seven minutes of the game. That having been said, I think we have enough to handle Ursuline. The coaches, as usual, will come up with an excellent game plan based on our talent.

Big Red 21
Ursuline 12

We got some of the starters some rest tonite. This was needed after a hard fought battle against Massillon. I think we can beat Ursuline but we have to cut out the mistakes. Play Big Red football..........as alwaysrollredroll.........

Erie Cathedral Prep is a good team. I wasn't surprised with the final score at all. I knew they would be too much for Ursuline to handle. I mean for Erie Prep to just crush and dominate Erie Strong Vincent and M.L.C. like they did says a lot. I'm curious to see how the score of Erie Prep and Erie McDowell will be next week. But back to Ursuline vs Big Red. I'd like to see Ursuline come up with a win. Would really help Mooney out. Just don't know if it will happen though IN STEUBENVILLE. maybe a 1 or 2 touchdown win for Big Red in my opinion.

Last time was a 1 man wrecking crew with Teague tearing it up all over the field!I like Big Red by 10.

Last night there was a different B.R.cornerback playing than the one victimized at Massillon last week. Don't know if it is permanent or result of injury, but regular corner was in uniform and standing on the sideline.
We'll see how that plays out.

With what? That Teague wasn't a one man wrecking crew ( which I agree with) or that B.R. will win by ten?

On offense yes he was a one man wrecking crew. Did they not hold Big Red to just a FG?

Great games across the whole state in week 7. Being from the Mahoning Valley, I hope that Ursuline pulls it off, but I have a lot of respect for Steubenville's program. May the best team win!

Big Red catches UHS at the perfect time. Ursuline played two road games against big, physical teams the past two weeks, St Eds and Erie Prep . They have to be physically drained especially with a depth issue. Now a trip to Steubenville? Not good.

Big Red will be an easier task than the last two games but I think Big Red prevails in a close game.
