Well, when Morsi becomes an American Citizen maybe he can work towards an Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to change the first amendment. Until then. who cares what he thinks!

I like the part of his speech about world govt. making sure people to not suffer. he wants us to pay for Palestine to have a new home land. If he wants those things he needs to put money toward them. I think he wants the USA to pay for those things.

At least the Dude speaks out in the open what he wants and what his country was founded on (and maybe his country wants that as well). On the other hand our Dude speaks out in the open what he wants but not what the country was founded on and not what his country believes.

I'm curious. Do any of you think that our freedom of speech guaranteed in the Constitution does come with some responsibility?

1. There is a limit to free speech in this country. The obvious example is you can't yell "fire" in a crowded theatre. So there is responsibility with our freedom as well
2. "The world cannot become one culture or one civilization. However, can we have civilizations that live side by side, not against one another?"--Morsi

I would ask him if the arab world is finally willing to live next to isreal without shelling them with rockets every couple of weeks?

In my opinion, Isreal has been asked to endure too much. In a perfect world I would have a buffer zone all around isreal that is the length of the longest rocket that has been fired into their homeland.

Would we accept from canada or mexico what Isreal has been asked to endure from lebanon?

So if it does not what is the issue? That our freedom of speach has to carry some responsiblity...of course...but doesn't actions carry much more? Yes!!!!

The difference is that in the USA you are acountable for our actions. If we decide to talk bad about somebody... we have to live with the consequences of those actions...rest assured it is not that of getting a weapon and killing somebody.
