Default Logan Elm at Teays Valley - 09-17-2012, 12:20 AM

Pair of 2-2 teams facing off. TV beat Bloom-Carroll 28-14 last week and LE lost 42-7 to Hamilton Township.

This should be a good game. TV handled Westfall week 1. Week two LE lost a heartbreaker to the Mustangs late in the ballgame blowing a 2 score lead. Don't ever sleep on a well-coached Braves team but I give a slight edge to the Vikings at home.

Just might be the best game to watch in the MSL-B this week. I'll go with Teays Valley by 10, in honor of my fellow HT alumni who migrated to Ashville, Duvall, and Commercial Point. Wouldn't surprise me if a blocked PAT makes the difference in this one.

I have to pull for the Vikings because I actually graduated from there. Sigh. Always confuses my Hamilton Township people but I did. Spent my whole life at Hammy except for one year as a youngster and that last school year.

Don't let the week 1 Westfall game fool anybody. Westfall was going through some major distractions before that first game and was a totally different team when facing Logan Elm.

I'm with Zunardo, could be the best game to watch in the MSL-B this week. I say the Vikings in a squeaker.

I'll go with the Vikings but they are not the team I thought they would be this season.

Default Go Vikings!! - 09-19-2012, 08:51 AM

The Vikings have been hit by the injury bug pretty hard. Hopefully, they will take of business this week. They need to continue to improve since the implosion after halftime of the Licking Heights game. It would be awesome for them to finish 7-3 and get into the playoffs!! One game at a time though!! Would be nice to bring the Rumpke Trophy to Ashville after the next 2 weeks!!!!

I will predict Teays Valley 27 Logan Elm 21

I thought TV would of handled LH. Never did get the scoop from that game. I still think they get the win this week in a close one.

The Vikings are capable of beating any team......also are prone to losing to teams they should not. They seem to me to be very unpredictable....

I seriously doubt that 7-3 would be anywhere close to getting them in the playoffs.

8-2, possibly, but not likely even at that.

well GNG, I'm going with Drew Pasteur's statistical and mathematical data results over your "opinion", even though it seems to be very serious.
I am overly impressed with his previous successes with the whole "milk thing", so I'm jumping on the bandwagon.

You may also note that while TV is an 86%'er with only 7 wins, HT is only 57% likely with 8 wins. Not making predictions, just pointing out the results of Mr. Pasteur's data and simulations.

I said before the season that Hammy would have a tough time getting in at 8-2, they didn't two tears ago. I don't know if 9-1 would be a gimme.

Chilly, London and Bexley aren't going to help them much.

Seven wins could get TV in, but they probably would have to beat BOTH of the DII schools they play.

Opinions and data aside....just win baby!!

I agree. Going to take wins against Hamilton & Canal to put the Vikings in at 7-3 IMO. Win out & I'd say you're in.

If they win out, they will be in at 8-2. Looking ahead, if TV is 8-2, we know who they will have beat. If Hamilton is 8-2, we don't know who they beat or lost to.

The computer must have been impressed with TV's win over Westfall. I wouldn't be surprised to see Westfall win out.

I don't see TV winning out. The injury bug hit a key player and they miss him on both sides of the ball. They have lots of talent but they can't seem to pull it together.

Big win for the Vikings. They play for the county title when they go to Circleville next week. Two of the three undefeated league teams left. Should be a dandy.

That is a very cool photo. Congratulations to the Vikings, sounds like they played solidly.
