Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (2-2) coming off a great and impressive win over Akron St. V's 41-13. Their other win was to Boardman 38-0 the 2nd game of the year and their losses include St. Ignatius and a 8 point loss to Warren Harding. The Akron St. V's game was closer then what the score showed but Mooney really picked the tempo of the game up after halftime and mostly in the 4th quarter.

Mentor Lake Catholic Cougars (1-3) coming off losses to Brunswick, Ursuline and Cathedral Prep. Their last 3 games M.L.C. has scored 10 points or under. And their 1 win on the year was the first game of the year by beating Strongsville 49-21
