Does Dublin, Hilliard, Grove City, Westerville, Olentangy, or any other school district have any very good Jr.High Wrestlers ?

Dominic Demas is an 8th grader at Dublin Davis this year. He didn't lose a match until State last year, and finished 3rd there.

Other JH wrestlers in central ohio,Logan Broskie (DeSales),Jimmy Thompson(Lancaster or DeSales),Zach Furnas (Ol.Liberty),Max Wright (Delaware).

Grenier, Broskie, and Wright were all one win from placing last year in tough weight classes. I think they will have good seasons Wright and Grenier have been wrestling at Palmers a lot (Until Wrights Injury) and Broskie gave up football, he's hitting the open mats hard.

Dominic Demas of Dublin Davis will be by far the best in Dublin (if not the metro area). Davis should be pretty solid again this year. Maybe not as top to bottom strong as they were last year IMO, but some of the smaller guys like Jared Nolan and Nick Densel will be very solid. They won quite a bit as 7th graders (Densel placed at Centerburg if I recall correctly). I think they also have a Miron kid who didn't wrestle for the school last year but may this year.

Yes it is a good group of wrestlers and it better be if we want to compete with the big boys to the north and to the south. I like what's happening here in central Ohio....I'm excited to finally see the kids I've been watching wrestle Biddy since they were 5 and 6 yrs old compete and give central Ohio a lot of pride.

Lets don't leave out the round town returning state placer, Nate Keaton. Heck he placed at jr. high state as a 6th grader.

Is Dougherty who used to wrestle for Circleville still at West Jeff ?

Josh Doherty as far as I know is still at West Jeff.

Mattox is a returning Jr.high State Champ and was only a 6th grader and Romero is a returning Jr. High State champ and was a 7th grader.

Should be a very competitive season with lots of Great talent in the mix. Can not wait for it to get started!!!
