You vote, you decide...who had Ohio's best individual performance in Week 2? Find out who the nominees for the Ohio National Guard JJHuddle Ohio Football Player of the Week are here and how to pick the winner. The choices are impressive...

POLLS CLOSE AT NOON ON THURSDAY

Week 3 Nominees

James Canan, Bradford
Senior RB turned in one of Ohio’s Top 10 all-time single-game rushing performances in a 61-41 win over National Trail. Canan ran the ball 42 times for 455 yards (No. 10 all-time according to the OHSAA) and seven TDs (one shy of tieing state record). In a Week 2 win over Tipp City Bethel, Canan rushed for 334 yards and three TDs on 38 carries. He has close to 1,000 yards in three games.

Tommy Iammarino, Chagrin Falls
Senior QB threw for seven TDs and 427 yards (completed 22-of-32 passes) in a 56-42 win over Wooster. Only 10 QBs in Ohio history have thrown more TDs in a game – ever.

Reese completed 16-of-19 passes for 425 yards and four TDs as the Tygers built a 42-7 halftime lead en route to beating Marion Harding 45-21. Reese sat out the entire second half. Last year he set the previous record with 388 yards against Clear Fork.

It might be worth mentioning that Seth Casto of West Jefferson did all of his week three work in less than 3 quarters. Sooner or later the kid will get the respect he deserves.
