Default Licking Heights (3-0) vs. Harvest Prep (2-1) - 09-09-2012, 08:32 AM

This game has always been a good one. HP always have some great talent, and this year is no different with two NCAA Div. 1 type guys. As per usual I would suspect HP's starting 11 will look more like an OCC team, however that 11 will play both ways and all special teams, they will break out with some long runs and make some big plays.

Licking Heights will have to counter that by playing a ball control offense with no turnovers and no penalties. They will have to wear them down in the 4th quater. I am not sure if HP still trash talks on the field But LH should not play into that like in years past.

To that end I think this could be a close game and go either way, HP has two studs that could counter LH depth.

Im going to show a little bias here and say ive been around the LH vs HP for maybe 7 years now and it always goes the same, HP starts out strong because they have good talent and they are fresh but then due to the lack of depth they wear down and play lazy, undisciplined, and slow. So yeah HP has two good players, 3 if you want to count the DL/OL player. But LH has worn down the teams they have played and opened the flood gates in the second half against TV and Watkins. So i see it being close early but then LH pulling away in the 3rd or 4th quarter!

I think the Hornets will win with out any major problems. Who are the two D1 players for HP ?

I am going to guess this one will be like others have already said.

Prep will start fast and end slow.

Hornets,28-13.

Heights is off to a very strong start this year against some solid competition...

I think they will handle HP but it won't be easy... IMHO similiar to the 2010 game... 32-17ish

Heights should win this game. But every year there are a couple suprising losses. This could be one...
