Default Money missing from Niles Frontliners (football boosters) account - 08-28-2012, 09:34 PM

Let's hope this gets resolved swiftly and THOROUGHLY!!! If harsh punishment is not doled out, and if the Frontliners are anything short of 100 percent open and up-front with the public, they will not only hurt their own cause but all other Niles boosters. Niles supporters would be EXTREMELY cautious about providing any type of financial support to any sports booster program if this is not properly handled.

Frontliners MUST put the hammer down and they must be informative about the process. They have done more than anyone could imagine for the football program over the years. The football program as we know it likely wouldn't exist without the help of the Frontliners. Hopefully this one very ugly incident doesn't ruin a good thing.

I'm sure John Darnell at the Boardman News will accuse Mooney of taking it!

Amen HotDog!!

I also hope (and probably naive of me) that people in the Niles community do not spread rumors, inuendo and conjecture. The facts will need to come out eventually, so let's all wait until we convict anyone else. There are many good people working within the Frontliners and other booster clubs whose names should not be sullied by the actions of one (and hopefully no more) individual.

Although individual members may have different agendas, the Frontliners and other Niles booster groups are great organizations whose only goal is to benefit the student athlete/musician/scholar.

Let the facts come out, and then make opinions/conclusions based upon those facts. Unfortunately, this message board will only reach a few folks.

If players start showing up with new tats, jerseys and rounds of golf, you'll know where the money went.

I wonder what the person will be charged with once he is caught. I used to work with a guy that was found to be doing something similar in Leavittsburg. I don't remember how much time he got on top of paying the money back. He seemed like one of the nicest, outgoing personalities you'd ever meet but he was secretly stealing from the school. You never know when it comes to sneaks. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out who was stealing from Niles.
