All games were 7 innings due to weather - more rain Friday, I think.

Zach Beaver threw a 3-hitter for the win (no BB, 6K), Pickerington got 3 hits (Devon Fisk, Jacob Horsley, Joe Matalon) and 2 sac bunts by Kyle Smith - the second a successful squeeze for the second run.

Adrian (MI) beat Moline (IL) 4-1 and Terre Haute (IN) beat Ash Port/Green Bay (WI) 3-0.

Midland (MI) vs Northbrook (IL) was postponed to Friday (weather permitting)

Friday's games were rained out at the Great Lakes Regional in Midland, MI.

There is one game left from Thursday to be played and they will (I believe) try to get that game and Friday's schedule in on Saturday - but that is guesswork on my part -

If the schedule holds Pickerington will play the winner of the Midland Berryhill (MI) / Northbrook (IL) game on Saturday evening following the Adrian (MI) / Terre Haute (WI) game.

Game 4 was a forfeit - Midland Berryhill wins 9-0 (I assume or gets a bye) - Northbrook, IL could not field 12 players;

Game 5 (11am)- Moline (IL) defeated Ash Port (AKA Green Bay) 5-2 - Ash Port eliminated;

Game 6 - Madison (WI) wins forfeit - would have played Northbrook, IL;

Game 7 - Terre Haute (IN) defeats Adrian (MI) 3-1 - Terre Haute (3-8-0) WP-Nacke (Terre Haute North/11-Vincennes); Adrian (1-2-0) LP-Carey (Tecumseh/14);

Game 8 - Midland Berryhill (MI) defeats Pickerington (OH) 1-0 - Berryhill (1-2-3), WP-Mayle (Midland Dow/11-Kellogg CC); Pickerington (0-1-1), LP-Sexton (Watkins Memorial/13) - Horsley got the hit - 3 Pickerington runners picked off;
