adena_guerrero Your list looks I'm not sure if Upper Sandusky is D3 but if they are they could suprise some teams. Their test will be at the Elgin Classic. I think Edison will be down a little, but it should be a real dog fight between them and Huron for who rules the SBC along with maybe Perkins

Ready and Tuscarawas Valley are both loaded with seniors and should be very good this year. They could both be in the top half. Pleasant and Adena not as strong and could be in the lower half of the top ten. Miami East should be in the final four again; Gilmour lost three very good players but have their setter and big middle back, they will be good again. Don't see Dalton, Smithville, or Orrville as strong this year as previous years. Buckeye Trail-not sure they should be ranked in the top 10. What about Parkway-anybody see them this summer?

adena_guerrero, this is the second yr of the 2 yr cycle for enrollment figures/division calculations so no additions or subtractions, same teams as last year.

At the end of last year, I thought the order would be :

Miami East
Bishop Ready
Bloom Carroll
Huron
Anna
Gilmour Academy

Edison lost some outstanding players, but still did well at Maumee Bay.
Buckeye Trail graduated a very strong middle.
Huron is very good.

After seeing Pleasant, I completely agree with adena_guerrero. They lost a lot ... they reloaded.

Another team that should at least be considered top 20 is Alexander. They play as a team. Each player knew their role and played it well.

By the way ... according to the schedule I read, Bishop Ready plays at Marion Pleasant tomorrow. That is a great way to kick start the season.

Had a chance to see Alexander play 3 matches on Saturday and would have to say that they have a nice team. Nothing flashy and not much height but play very good defense and serve well and the setter does a great job in getting the ball in a position for the hitters to attack at the net. They only had 7 girls dressed on Varsity and used all 7. With the JV's playing across the parking lot they may put a few of those girls in uniform to help out....?

Tuscarawas Valley is very good and should be in the top 10! Ridgewood has a pretty good group of girls as well but not sure if Top 10 is where they should be placed but top 20 yes. These two teams would have to face each other early in tournaments.
