Hey cville fans just curious how do you like Hinton? Has the program changed a lot since he arrived?

I talked to a guy name Les Delong that coached with him at Wellston and he said he is one of smartest football coaches he ever has known. I feel that he will have this Tiger team ready to play.

I saw them at practice this morning. Coach Hinton seemed to have his troops under control. It's going to be an interesting year with less practice space and lots of construction distractions!

Default Circleville -New Coach? - 08-18-2012, 06:59 AM

Can anyone update how they have been coming along with the new coach?
How have they done in their scrimmages?
Players numbers are they up or down?

Well when it comes to scoring he has had a major impact 40 plus pts a game but something needs done with that horrible def. coord. If its the same players with enough talent to score 40 a game then they cant be that horrible on the other side of the ball. He has not a clue in the world how to defend the spread and that is a fact. So not looking forward to the Logan Elm game or any other team playing the spread. I would say to any def. coord wanting to jump into a program that could go all the way please call the coach and do all of us here in circleville a huge favor!!!!

It's a tough loss for Circleville, but the Tigers are 2-1 after going 2-8 last season, and this team has a lot of promise. One of the problems is the secondary lost a lot to graduation and has been slowed by injury. When you are going against the spread, that hurts.

But the reason why CHS lost this game was lack of ball security in the second half.

The turnovers hurt dont get me wrong but when the Q.B had a month of Sundays to throw the ball that was the nail in the coffin. I cannot figure out why they called play after play of 4 to 5 guys on the line while westfall was in the spread, I mean just awful coaching on the defensive side, just plain horrible. Also they are going to take a big hit when 12 goes down due to him being used as a running back. Seems to me they need to work on the running back position to save the Q.B . That loss was 100% to blame on the super bad defensive coaching. Just hope he gets a clue before the logan elm game wow just horrible!!!

You realize Coach Hinton calls the defense right?
