Is this legion baseball? If so thats surprising, NW Ohio (dont know the district #) has 8 teams in 1 district. All pretty decent talent levels.

Legion Baseball in Ohio is in serious trouble.

The number of teams is down and the Legion has serious money concerns. This years, in order to save money they are not using the umpire group out of Cincinnati that has worked the State Tourney for the past 40 or so years. They are going to use local umpires in an attempt to save money.

Hope it all works out for the Legion, but the trends seem to indicate otherwise.

Yea I've heard teams are dropping all over ohio, pretty surprising to here since 2 new teams have been added the last 2 years here.
