Default Five Reasons Romney Wins in November - 07-10-2012, 03:32 PM

The stars are beginning to align. Still four months out, democrats are in panic mode as this race starts to slip away. Here's your signs--

1) It's the economy, stupid. -- June Job Creation at 80k, Unemployment Steady at 8.2%

2) Follow the money. -- Obama Trails Romney Again in Battle for Campaign Cash

3) The electoral map. -- Romney on the Rise, Obama in a Fall

4) Polls within the margin of error. -- Likely Voters Say Romney 47%, Obama 44%

5) Desperation attacks. -- Liberal Groups Start throwing Rocks

It is early. But, President-Elect Romney has more than just a pulse.

The fact that Obama is still even with Romney with everything he has going against speaks volumes about the enthusiasm for Romney.

As for #3, I'm stumped as to how you see that as a reason Romney will win. It shows Obama with a big lead in electoral votes. Romney has to almost sweep all the remaining toss-up states to win.

FWIW, I wish we had two different candidates running. Neither of these clowns know how to run a country.

In politics, we look for trends. The electoral map is trending Romney. Even the lame CNN analysis shows it. That's why it was included.

We will win Florida...no doubt. Ohio is next.

The fact that a sitting president, in July, can't swat the fly is the real story. Follow the money. We win in a landslide.

Bethere will go postal. Mark it.

We should start a pool to pick the time he melts down on election night.

I'll go with 11:15 pm.

At this point in 1980, The Peanut Farmer was 7 to 9 points ahead of Ronald Reagan. In November, that election was called before the polls in Cali closed as Reagan wiped the electoral map with peanut shells.

Tied in July is a horrible position for Barry and the economy isn't going to improve enough to save him, even if Bernacke gives away $100 bills on every street corner...oh wait...he's already done that a couple times already.

at this point in 1980 the nuclear physicist/annapolis grad/peanut farmer may have only been ahead by 9 points, but he also only had 39% support.

1--obama is a lot stronger than that;
2--there isn't a real third party choice this year like there was in john anderson in 1980.
3--the gop wasn't saddled with a candidate that 2/3 of the gop didn't like.

We can confidently say...JC has breathed a sigh of relief. ;)

desperation.

if you lose, and you will, the gop is finished. you have a well deserved sense of urgency, only it is too late. we might call that flow of cash 'the death throes of the gop.'

you are running on the gun issue yet your candidate has banned aaault weapons and obama has not.o.
you are running on abortion when romney has been pro-choice most of his adult life.
you are running on contraception when romney mandated contraception through insurance in massachusetts years ago.
you are running on the affordable heath care act even though romney was the first to ever mandate the purchase of insurance.
you are running a mormon even though more than half of your party has said that under no circumstances would they vote for a mormon.

have fun., i know we will.

when jesus asks i'll be able to tell him i voted against reagan twice.

And in 2008 we were too stupid to figure this out?

Apples and oranges.

Follow the money to the winners circle.

EXACTLY like the election against racism. ;)

he, no doubt, would farm our national security concerns out to the etruscans...

...wait! that was nero!

romney valiantly rode his bicycle around france preaching a religion the majority of the gop would consider to be godless instead of serving honorably in vietnam. 2 out of every 3 republicans claims he/she wouldn't vote for a mormon under any circumstances.

let's be clear: instead of protecting our contry, willard moved to FRANCE.

BUT NOT BEFORE HE PROTESTED THE WAR PROTESTERS...

SO HE WAS PRO-WAR, BUT TOO GOOD TO, YOU KNOW, ACTUALLY SERVE HIMSELF. WAR APPARENTLY IS MEANT TO BE FOUGHT BY THE LITTLE PEOPLE.
