They are trying to say access to playoff will be better for all FBS conference.
That is a complete load of BS.

Doesn't make any sense to be in a conference if winning said conference does not equal an automatic playoff berth.
Should have made it an EIGHT team playoff, then watch the domino effect, the number of conferences would be down to eight in a year.

Those big non-conference games we get to see in September?
They will be a thing of the past soon.

This opens the door for the the formation of 4 super conferences, which is what was wanted all along. This will be the death of the Big East and ACC as major players in college football. The rumors of Maryland, North Carolina, and Duke to the B1G are probably going to be true and this may force Notre Dame's hand as well. Four 16 team conferences, if you're not in one of them then you will not play for a NC 1. SEC 2. B1G 3. Big 12 4. Pac 12
