Obviously not everyone is feeling the pain, just most of us!

Very good article but it is still tied to 2010...not 2012. Things have changed so I would not say that this article represents our current situation. It could be better or worse than the article says.

Agreed. My guess is that for most people, things probably haven't gotten much worse, but improvement, if any, is measured in bits and pieces. I think there are a lot of good lessons to be taken from the last decade. This would be especially true for the younger generation. In a nutshell, make sure you make your own bed. There's no guarantee going forward that somebody will step in and do it for you. (Sorry about the dated info!)

I don't know anyone that's doing well in this economy. I mean, sure we are scrapping by but most people are really hurting. It's not all Obama's fault, I'll give him that; but he certainly is not doing anything to help.

What do you propose that he does to 'help' you?

Damn George Bush 43. I'm voting against him in November. Maybe the 44th President will find a way to reverse this course. I'm hoping for change we can believe in as we wait for the one. I wonder if there's someone out there that can fix the Bush issues? I can't believe Bush has been president for 12 years.

Bush is so good that he went an extra 3 1/2 years to this point without even having sat in the oval office, addressing congress and staying at his ranch. Man the guy is really good!!!!
