Who will be the next coach at Miami Trace ?

Does anyone have any thoughts on who has applied or applying at Miami Trace. I have heard the board wants to have it all done by June 5th.

A high profile program like Trace needs a high pofile coach,big shoes to fill, Auckley wont get it done,Turner is the backbone of the program as far as player development. Timing of resigning was bad,good luck Mr. AD on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vondy why would u say Ackley is not a good fit? From what I understand he is turning London's program around

I'd have to agre with Vondy, I'm not sure how he's turning London around...they have only won 4 games since he took over and in the two previous years before he coached they won 13 games. Krager got no better under his guidance, her stats actually went done her jr/sr years compared to her frosh/soph years. He may have more girls out, but not sure the quality of ball there has improved. The program has been very weak since Woodford left in the late 90's.

Could not agree more Hoopcrazy, he ruined Krager, MT. better look at him real close,his in game decisions are horrible. Why are they Rushing!! (june5th)AD needs to get the best coach possible!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any new information on the Miami Trace Job? SCOL is going to be breaking in 3 coaches next season.

Trace is a good program, why did the coach leave? He was real good! I seen him beat Eastmoor Academy a couple years ago and they got to the final 4 that year. They have talent, whats wrong down there?

Congrats to the new Head Coach at Miami Trace, Ben Ackley and asst coach Randy Welch. The search commitee interviewed coaches and offered him late last night. He brings a high octane style and attitude that the girls have been wanting. I don't see MT scoring only 20 pts in a game this upcoming year.
