Good Luck to all teams this season and have fun! Be Sportsmen as Winners, Be Gracious in Defeat.
LU will be at the top of the heap with WJ and LH. Young, fresh offense with lots of speed. D-line returns senior Luke Hannan who was the only defensive player in Division V, Region 19 listed on JJHuddle "Top 10 Players to Watch" July 26 issue. Invited to Blue-Grey Combine in Cincinnati, won bench press vs 149 competitors; invited to Blue-Grey in Canton for Super Combine, tied for bench at 185# w/30 reps. Div I, II, and III looking. Shirey, Underwood, Reeves, and Goodman are returning seniors who are all fast, strong, and gooooood tacklers. Quiet little town full of country boys - watch out. Beat LH and WJ last year on their home turf; hope to see LU win against both of them again this year on LU's home turf.
GH - please get new visitor bleachers. What you have is just not nice.
LH and WJ - Powerful teams, good luck. Enjoy the competition.
HP - Can someone find another league for them to join? Too bad the people at the top made such a mess of it for the kids. But me thinks the kids weren't entirely innocent in that foul play; they knew the rules and they played anyway.
FC, BU, and Mport: Hang in there. The sun rises every day!
Go Lions!

The league may be way down again this year. Berne with 25 players and Fisher and Millersport with 30. How many players does Harvest Prep have? It's hard building programs with no JV/frosh teams.
LU's numbers are way up. Handful of big guys Seniors: Hannan 275#, Miller 244#, Kauffman 260# and sophomores Russell 217#, Justice 264#, Brobeck 254#, Barker 209#. 16 seniors but some big shoes to fill. LU plays Mifflin and Crooksville in upcoming scrimmages. I look for LU to be very fast.

How does Millersport have 30? That's pretty good, wasn't it last year they had under twenty?
And agreed about there being no JV/frosh teams. Two years ago Fisher had a pseudo-JV team, but last year they didn't.

If true, and I am not doubting you.
Isn't this the norm for this school?

Um, those are LIGHT poles to hold the LIGHTS to LIGHT the field. lol yourself. There are no "phones" at the football field except those that you carry on your hip. And the SIZE of the visitor bleachers at LU are probably 4TIMES the size of those at Grandview.

So LH had to squeak one out vs Watkins, both Millersport and BU got destroyed, LU squeaked one by B-C, WJ did what WJ dies and beat Mechanicsburg convincingly, Harvest Prep supposedly beasted Bexley, Grandview lost to Centennial (I don't get why they play each other), and Fisher lost to TCC 51-29.

gizz up do you read the paper? Also Grandview has been playing Centennial since the late 80's. Maybe do some research before you spout off you are so clueless. HP destroyed Bexley. Why would you post when you have no clue what you are talking about?
