My father turns 74 here in a couple days and I feel blessed every additional football season I get to spend in the stands with him.

Yes, treasure every moment you spend with him. Someday he won't be there but you'll have some wonderful memories.

As many of you already know, a number of years ago my late father donated a collection of Big Red memorabilia to the school. His collection included programs going back to 1926,

A gentleman from Canton McKinley has made a new contribution to Dad's collection. It is a season student ticket from 1921. It was good for five games and cost the grand sum of 75 cents. It's in unused condition.

I will donate it at the Boosters Club meeting on August 28. I'll pass it around so everyone can see it. It is probably the oldest piece of football memorabilia the school has.

I will be coming into Steubenville for the Woodrow Wilson and Benedictine games. While I'm there, I would like to spend an afternoon reorganizing Dad's collection of memorabilia. Who do I have to talk to about this? My father was John Carlton.
