Getting back to 2012, what is Morgantown's stadium like? It doesn't look too bad from its picture.

I just hope we don't play in the Wolvarena again. They gave me a very hard time about parking in a handicapped parking zone.

(I shouldn't have said this. Now Ferflog will drag out one of his asinine pictures.)

Motown just went through a stadium upgrade, so it should be an enjoyable trip.

I've never been to Morgantown. I'll try to be home for that game.

I live in Columbus and have been a fan of Bishop Hartley football for years...I also have a connection with Big Red and listen to the games on the River every week (at Hartley games)....I wish Coach S and the entire Big Red team the best of luck on their quest for another DIII crown....we (the Hartley Hawks) are on a mission for the DIV title.....Go Red and Hawks.....

Thanks and good luck to Hartley. Didn't they play Central back in the 90's?

I really like The River and I listen to all the games when I can't make it home to Steubenville. Those guys always mention that I'm listening in from Seattle. After my father passed away, they did an obituary about him. I'm going to try to meet them this year when I'm in town.

I have seen a giant horse (upper body) under the visitor student section a few years back. Is there any chance that is built into the press box?

You knew the answer all the time. Why didn't you just give it to me?

No, unfortunately that got discarded when they cleaned up under the visitor student section a few years ago.

For a short time it was down on route 7, but they didn't anchor it correctly, so it had to be taken down. I have no idea where it is now.

As for the front of the pressbox, I think everyone will be very pleased with what they are going to do.

Pressbox will be done by July.

I had pics of the turf on the website, but they are not there now.

I'm going to get all new pics once everything gets done.

From all that I've seen and heard the stadium will look really great this fall.

Fairwood, do you attend high school games out west? I went to college in Fla. in the late 60's and went to a lot of different games with only a few hundred in attendance. My friends found it hard to believe the figures I gave them for AAC games until I got a subsription to the Herald Star and they were giving the Big Red figures back then. I'm just wondering if it's anything like Ohio football. I know I was never in a high school stadium in Fla. like the AAC stadiums.

There are a few teams in the Seattle area that are ranked nationally and they get big attendance. But for the rest of the teams, it's nothing at all like Ohio.

When will Roll Red Roll post the junior varsity, freshmen, and 8th and 7th grade games? I hope to see some of them when I come home.

Do you know offhand if there is going to be a game on Friday, August 24? I'm going to have a morning to kill and I would like to see a game.
