On March 16th the Buckeyes open their home season against Aust Peay.

Buckeyes opened their home schedule with, a 4-3 win over Austin Peay.

Josh Dezse(Olentangy Liberty) knocked in the winning run with walk off single in the bottom of the 13th.

Update

The Buckeyes were able to defeat Austin Peay in the third game by the count of, 7-3.

Since then they have gone 1-1.
They were shown how bad they really are when they were blownout by Louisville,20-0. The Bucks had five hits and three errors in this one.The Cardinals stand 15-6.

The next day the Bucks took down Dayton,11-7.

This team is inexperienced especially on the mound and the bats have been quiet lately. If they are going to make a run at this thing or at least make the big ten tournament they are going to have to pick things up all around. I am interested to see how they handle the real grass this weekend after playing on the turf last weekend at home.

Since the last report

The Buckeyes drop 2 of 3 at home to Purdue. Winning the final game of the series.

After beating Purdue they were able to take out Eastern Michigan,13-3.

They picked up a great win today 1-0 over Michigan state scoring in the top of the 9th to win it. Long was outstanding on the mound pitching a complete game shutout.

First game was (I think 4-3), and the nitecap was 17-9.

Buckeyes play the final regular season today, on the Big Ten Network.
They have lost the first two of the series against Indiana, who is the #2 seed in the Big Ten Tourney next week.

Buckeyes need a win today and a Illinois loss today to make the tourney.
Illinois is losing big to Mineesota today late in the game.

In the 8th inning the guys in the both said win or lose the Buckeyes are the #6 seed,which is good being the Buckeyes have blown a two-run lead and trail,4-2 in the ninth.
