Genoa had a nice win against Otsego (3-0) and a bad loss last night with Elmwood (11-1). Comets seem up and down from game to game. Elmwood looks like their playing better then in the start of the season. The hole league seem up and down. As someone said earlier 4 losses may win the NBC this year.

Well interesting first half. Here are the standings(I think):

Eastwood looks pretty good, but Elmwood could shake everything up starting out with Woodmore and Eastwood.

Thanks FLD....got news this morning, 6-8 weeks. Looks like Buckeye Heat will need another player for the summer. She is pretty bummed right now. Missed you last night...saw you as i was leaving! She will be back with a renewed passion for playing. Good game last night, Elmwood is really hitting the ball...defense needs to step up.

PS....I'm looking forward to an Otsego-Elmwood rematch. Darn weather makes it difficult to assess how good players and teams really are.

Agreed, both teams hit well but pitching and defense was a little lacking, wind and rain made it difficult. Hopefully if things go the right way that last meeting will have some meaning. What are you going to do all summer?

I believe that game was postponed due to a death of a student at Rossford who had been fighting cancer. At least that is what was reported in the Toledo Blade today and on Fox 36 sports last night.

Spike15...it didn't see your question earlier. Broken clavicle while diving for a flyball during warmups before the Elmwood/Fostoria game. She goes hard all the time. 6-8 weeks recovery. Still alot of pain six days in. Thanks for your concern.

I know I should never have said we haven't even had a delay last week, we haven't played since.
Eastwood is alone in first at 8-1 followed close by Woodmore at 6-2. All other teams have at least 4 losses.
Fostoria, Rossford, and Lake have lost tournament games. That's all I know.
