I agree with Vin_Scully. in that it will be Archbold on the one side, but I think it will be Delta edging the Patriots on the other side.

Delta and PH play this friday so we will have a good idea who moves on to the districts provided PH beats LC.

Why all NWOALs go into sectionals at Ant Wayne? Does that sound like NWOAL Men's Freshmen Tournament? :-D

It does seem odd to see Archbold and Patrick Henry in the same sectional, while for the past 30 years or so they were split not only to separate sectionals, and even distrct sites so that the earliest that they would possibly see each other would be the regional.

Anthony Wayne has a wonderful facility and a first class staff running the tournament. I suspect that the participants will like playing there.

PH has bounced around a lot. Northview sectionals in early/mid 90's. Defiance. Findlay last few years. OG when they dropped to D4.

Did Anthony Wayne take the place of Southview?

Swanton, Delta and Evergreen were at Whitmer the last couple years and it was Southview before that.

Districts and Sectionals have changed quite a few times over the years.

At one time sectionals were in Toledo for Archbold, then moved to Defiance, and now they are moving to Anthony Wayne
and Districts was in Ada, then moved to Toledo, and finally to Napoleon.

Does anyone know for certain when was the last time Archbold and Patrick Henry were placed in the same sectional draw by the Northwest District board?

Blakeslee,

It was 2006 and they were the top 2 seeds at Napoleon Sectional and met in the District Final at Waite.

With PH being almost half way between Defiance and Findlay they get flipped quite a bit between the Sectional sites...they are right on that border-line.
