Which players on their way out at OSU -
01-13-2012, 05:26 PM
With early morning work outs, low tolerance for shenanigans, and new offensive and defensive schemes which buckeyes will leave the program

So itchy that according to Thursday’s Boarding House, he apparently has already scratched DerJaun Gambrell from the football program. With very good reason too, if the charges to ‘PeeWee’ are true. I hate the concept of just tossing a kid out the door but look at what Gambrell was charged with by campus police:
• Assault
• Unlawful Restraint
• Unlawful Menacing
All of this directed at his girlfriend and the mother of his child.

The SAME WEEK that Urban Meyer tells the Buckeyes that he isn’t going to put up with any stupidity and then subsequently ran the team until both Cardale Jones and Chris Carter tapped out like Kurt Angle had them in the ankle lock on Twitter, not one but two Buckeyes decided to find out exactly how serious The Urb was on discipline.
Buckeye Nation, it simply doesn’t get stupider than that. The Urb is famous for not giving a flying you-know-what when he takes over a program: TWENTY kids left his first offseason at Bowling Green before he shrugged it off and won 17 games the next two years!

Anyone who would leave for any of the stated reasons here, isn't worth worrying about. Something about "don't let the door hit you in the donkey on the way out...". (Donkey should make it through, shouldn't it?

Players are going to leave OSU? Well, to me that means they weren't going to play much or shouldn't have been there in the first place. See ya. I'm more interested in the ones that stay and the ones coming in to see how they work and what kind of team Coach Meyer can mold out of them.

The recruiting run Meyer is making right now has never been seen in the midwest by anyone. If everything holds constant, our next 32 recruits(8 this year, 24 next year) may be the best the big ten has ever seen. I predict these next two recruiting classes will be better than 02 and 03 for OSU (Hawk, Carpenter, Nugent, Schlagel, Mangold, Holmes, Gonzo, etc).
Now, a little hint to hwats going on this weekend......Can Braxton Miller throw over guys that are 6'6-6'8 and like cheese and Jerry Springer?

With the D-line that is coming in if you weren't playing last year you probablely will have a tough time playing here on out. Wouldn't you be tempted to transfer. Taylor Graham, dropback QB, in a spread offense behind a one year starter. Jordan Hall, Carlos Hyde, Rod Smith, Brionte Dunn, and Warren Ball. You talk about character but these are quality athletes that would be starting at the school up north. The guys that leave effect how many you can recruit( except in the SEC). If it comes down to one scholarship and two left tackle recruits who do you offer

I'm glad Urban and the new S&C coach (Marotti I think) are getting on a lot of these guys for lack of work ethic. The last S&C coach Lichter was terrible, did he even work with the O-linemen at all, It looked like this last group spent 4 yrs. playing video games & eating pizza.

We will be in great shape, if he is anything like Dave Kennedy was. We haven't been in that kind of shape, since.
