The Red Riders, on their home court, jumped on top early and attained a double digit lead in the 2nd quarter and led 33-23 at the break. They came out cold to start period 3 and Big Red scored the first 15 points of the 2nd half to take the lead 38-33, a lead the visitors never relinquished. The Red Riders (3-6) were playing without the services of 6'7' senior center Shane Mills who injured an ankle late in the 2nd quarter and didn't return. Big Red (5-2) was led by 6'4" freshman Malik Richmond who scored 17. The only Weir play in double figures was James Cassiadoro with 11. The final was 49-39. Big Red has a big game coming up on Friday with state-ranked East Liverpool.
