Home side is all reserved seating except the 2 small end sections for 1 general admission and students.
Currently I am hearing about a 3 year waiting list for reserved season tickets.

I always like it when Dover plays Steubenville because my cousin and I bet money on the games. I usually win. MY cousin is Dr. Keith McFarland and he is definitely one of the most distinguished graduates of Dover H.S. He is the recently-retired president of Texas A&M University at Commerce. If any of you know him, please let me know.

My dad went to high school with him back in the fifties. Always reminds me he was the president of Texas A&M.

The only end zone seating Dover has is when New Phila brings their seats over. Dovers is a small stadium which seats around 6000.

End Zone seats are in place the entire football season and phila brings over some additional seats for the corners with Dover doing the same when playing at Phila. the normal end zone seats are 9 rows high at each end and hold 100 per row.
I will also mention that the area behind the band shell is packed for big games, the people packing this area are kids playing football and students that are socializing and have no clue a football game is in progress but they pay to get in just the same.

Our stadium is bigger on every side, and it seats roughly 9,800, so it's hard for me to believe that Crater seats 8,600.
Seating and standing room are two entirely different things though. Heck our practice field seats about 1,000, but we could have standing room for 15,000 there.

I think Crater is larger on the visitor side no lost seats due to portals. The home side was expanded in 06 so that picture shown is not the stadium today. The expansion added 100 theater style seats plus a 100 foot long press box the press box has 4 rooms with fans sitting in 2 of them. One for films a double size room for press,P.A. and scoreboard operator. I will try to stop and count the seats

Our visitor section is 13 rows high....100 yards long. Our home side is 23 rows high and 100 yards. Endzones are 13 rows high and 50 yards.
From what I see of Crater the visitor section is 10 rows high..if that.
The home side only goes up about 20 rows in the middle and the two ends are 9 or 10 rows.
The pic I'm looking at is after the new pressbox was added. That was needed though, as I was in the old one in 04 and it was only about 5 foot deep...and you had to go across a crazy cat walk that was downright dangerous just to get to it.
BTW, I'm not trying to get into some big argument, but people always tend to overstate their stadiums seating capacity and overstate attendance at games.

Almost under 40 days to kickoff! I hope the boys have enjoyed their summer, now it's time to get focused on Shaw. 25 second clocks are up and grass looks great. I can't wait!

Watched the team today during Camp, the numbers are very strong again and looks like we have very good size up front and a ton of talent in the skill positions with a lot of support from the underclassman!!! I cannot wait for the season to start and go D-O-V-E-R!!

From everything I've heard the Soph class is huge in numbers and size. Should be great for rotating guys in and out. My only question is, do they play mean defense? I will be back in town just in time for the scrimmage.
GO D-O-V-E-R

I stopped by camp today and was impressed with the slimmed down look of some of the big guys should help us get off the ball faster.
I was also impressed by the way Ifft has everone dressed identically, this has to help with team unity. I noticed the helmets looked like they were more of a primer gray than the silver metallick,I don't know if the helmets just are not done or they have a new look.

Dover boys look real good and have that Dover attitude all Dover fans love to see. LOL Dover scrimmages Pickerington on the 16th of August. I project that could be a nightmare but will definitely get the boys feet back on the ground and make them strap up for there first game. (When it counts)
I see old chest pumper Manowar is very interested in Dover seating capacity this year?

There are comments on the central/south forum page. Hartley fan said Dover was the 2nd best team there. Time will tell. Dover is very lucky to have another QB who will step in and not miss a beat.
