I am really excited for the kickoff of the season too. Can't wait to see Degidio run ball in our offense and to see what the Sullivan kid brings to the table. He seems to have good size and speed, just haven't seen his hands yet. Farmer, hopefully, has grown even more and should be unstoppable at DE. Can't get here fast enough. GO DOVER

Can anyone tell me about a player named Alex Bowman? I heard he has alot of talent but I don't know anything about him.

Bowman is a QB and linebacker. He and Mamarella shared quarterback duties for the freshman and JV teams last year. He is a good sized kid with a good arm and fits very well in the spread. I quess the battle will continue with him and Mamarella for the quarterback spot. I think they both have the potential to be very good.

QB and LB! Pretty impressive, a kid with talent and who likes to hit. I would like to see us put the better athlete on the defensive side of ball, and use them as a fifth or sixth WR on offense. I know it's not the norm for us, but we need to look at different ways to get our defense to that next level. Once we figure out that secret formula, watch out! Coach Ifft will keep elevating us to the next level. GO DOVER GO!

After doing some extensive research on my family tree this winter, I found out that Trey Wallick is a relative of mine. Now I root for Perry and Dover.
Any Saturday games for Dover this season. Would like to see him play.

Trey showed great toughness against Mooney, he was totally blasted after making catches on several occasions but held on to the ball and jumped right up,much to the dismay of the defender.

Trey is not only a talented football player, but a good kid as well.
He had nearly 1300 all purpose yards last year and scored 9 TD's.
Look for #4 to have even better numbers in his senior season.

The 3 classes that make up next year's team went 24-3 during their Freshman seasons and all 3 beat Phila. If it all comes together, this could be one of Dover's better teams>

A salute to Mason Mamarella, named all Ohio
in basketball, I look for him to also make
baseball and possibly football all Ohio, a chip
off his Dad who I believe was all Ohio in all 3
sports.

I'm assuming you mean Antonio.. great kid.. I was proud to coach him in a couple of tournaments during his biddy league football years here in Zanesville.. he and my son, as well as several other current Blue Devil players played a lot of football together growing up in their elementary school years.. I saw him after the JV game at Dover last year and it was good to see what a fine young man he's growing up to be.. he played very well that day in an exciting OT game and hopefully he continues that growth.. i`ll be very surprised if the Dover faithful aren't pleased with what Antonio brings to their team the next couple of seasons..
