Tecumseh lost 32-29.
#6 Ashland is a lock to travel to #3 New Albany.
Tecumseh will go to Tri-Valley, unless Mifflin won. Then Mifflin goes to TV. I doubt Mifflin won.

Congratulations Arrows on the Win, OCC Championship and Playoffs.
Lexington played a tough game and I wish their seniors all the best in the future.

Congratulations to Ashland. Sounded like Lex played pretty well. I was a little surprised that they were so conservative on that last drive that ended with a field goal to tie the score at 17. I thought Coach Payne might go for broke with not much to lose. Lots of rumors that tonight was Payne's last game at Lex. Have heard he will be seeking other opportunities. Hope Ashland represents the OCC well in the playoffs. Congratulations to the seniors at Lex. They could have packed it in at midseason, but they kept battling and played much better the second half of the season. I'm sure they would love to have the Madison and Clear Fork games back.

I think our boys love the smell of Brats as much as I do.
Kudos to Coach Payne and the Minutemen on playing a hard fought game and battling 'til the end.
Congrats to the Class of 2012 on never giving up and also for becoming the first class in school history to make three straight postseason apperances.

So if Payne will be leaving why did the AD Harris schedule Massilon next season. Doesn't make much sense anyway but if Payne will be leaving it makes none. Just keep playing Mt. Vernon.
Lex really battled tonight. Its time for Basketball and Wrestling at Lex!
Good luck Ashland in play-offs! If it's New Albany they're pretty good.

Video,
I know nothing about New Albany but that they have a lot of nice white fences, lots of nice houses and some of central Ohio's best golf courses.
Any Arrow discussions will have to take place in the Central forum from here on out.

Nice Job Arrows! Hopefully the game is in fact in New Albany, and I'll only have to drive a few minutes to catch my first game of the year!
Ironically, I've seen one HS Football game live this year and it was New Albany vs. Hilliard Bradley a few weeks back to watch a cousin that plays for Bradley. Personally, I wasn't that impressed with New Albany when I saw them. Bradley only passed the ball about 5 times the entire game, and moved the ball up and down the field running between the tackles. The score was a little misleading as Bradley turned the ball over 8 (yes, 8) times during the game.

New Albany is a solid football team and is coached by former Tyger assistant coach and Ashland Eagle Mark Mueller. Good luck Arrows.

Lex was horrible all year throwing the ball. Hard to figure that one out. Sure seems like QB very overrated and of course receivers that struggle holding on to the ball.

New Albany is a running team. Last year they were 10-0 and lost to Tri-Valley at home in week 11 20-17 in double OT. They have been inconsistent at times this year. Example:
Wk 5 Big Walnut 35 Olentangy Orange 34
Wk 6 Olentangy Orange 32 New Albany 7
Wk 8 New Albany 34 Big Walnut 31

I believe the rumors are true and it was his last game. After two straight conference record losing seasons, it may be for the best for both parties. Who knows. I know Lex doesnt return much for the next couple years so it may be a time to get someone fresh in to build the program. I did find it dissapointing that he gave up belief in the rest of the seniors and just continuously gave the ball to a recent transfer who played just five games for Lex. I wonder how the rest of the team feels about that. I believe he called his number 36 times last night. wow. He promotes these D-1 college players and doesnt even use them. O'well hopefully they go on to have outstanding college careers.

Lexington only had about a dozen seniors on roster and not all saw the field for major minutes. They could be better next season. Regardless of personal opinions and rumors of change, BJ Payne and his assitants have been good for the football program at Lexington. 5 years ago nobody cared about football there and it surely was not being discussed on here in week 10.

Jerry Maguire is a very bitter person. You have 80 posts and not 1 has ever been positive, yet you claim to be a Lex fan. Pathetic. People like you are why people hate Lex. As for your wish, you better hope Payne and staff stay because Lex has 0 openings in the district whether the Levy passes or not. Obviously you have a personal issue with him, be a man and go talk to him and keep the trash off of here.
