Default MVP HD: Coldwater scores in closing seconds for big win over DSJ - 10-10-2011, 11:54 AM

No Jumbo-Tron. No instant replay. No prescription turf. No 10,000-seat stadium. No five star recruits. No offense. Just another old fashion Midwest Athletic Conference battle between rival neighborhoods. The Great American Rivalry Series game was just that and MVPHD had it covered.

Epic game. Cavs break the Jays 21 game MAC streak. Jays come back and take the lead, on the road, despite spotting Coldwater 10 first half points off of two turnovers. Then, the Cavs find a way to get the job done late in the game. You have to give both teams credit for a classic game. Coldwater comes away with the W, but you have to give the Jays some love for playing an unreal sked, and losing nearly every starter on both sides of the ball from last year. If the Jays make the DVI playoffs, which they should, I would not want to have to face them. Coach Schulte will find a way to get their offense in gear, as his defense has been keeping them in all of their games this year. I look for Coldwater to make a very deep run in DV as well, and would not be surprised if they took home the title.
