I don't see any 1 team being the clear favorite to win this region.

Truth is, and yes I'm a Wynford fan. I really don't either. I think Ashland Crestview and maybe even Smithville get in. They both control their own destiny. I have to admit there are teams here I know zero about.

If you look at the schedules coming, almost every team in this region has at-least one really tough game yet to play, some two. This picture could look a whole lot different after week 10. Lots a football yet to play here.

If we win out (which means beating a very good Galion team) I think we get the #1 seed. Trouble is, I think we are 0-2 as a #1 seed. Unless R19 is weaker than I think, a first round win will be hard work.

Agree with this, this region can be won by any of the top eight unlike reg.20 where Coldwater is a clear favorite.

Not to get off the subject, but R18 seems to be the toughest IMO, with LCC the clear favorite to win state, that is if Ursuline doesn't get in. I sure hope the pairings for state are R17 vs R18 and R19 vs R20.

I think the teams that scare me the most in this region are Hillsdale and Ridgewood. Both Physical ground and pound.

I agree top to bottom R-18 is nothing but a meat grinder. I have been keeping my eye on Patrick Henry. I think they can win out, if they do they are in as well.

I expect Marion Pleasant to win R-20. They are a very good team as well.

Don't sleep on the southern teams of R19 just yet. Valley, West, and Nelsonville-York are all battle tested, and will be even more once November 4th comes around.

I was not impressed with Hillsdale's win over Bucyrus 22-6, but there has been alot of football played since then.

Pleasant beating Coldwater for reg. 20 would be somewhat of an upset.

IMO, Coldwater will win R20 based on performance against St Henry (the common opponent for comparison to Pleasant). I look for the region champs to be:

R17 Kirtland (see comment about Ursuline)
R18 LCC
R19 ???
R20 Coldwater

I cant disagree
but I can just as easily see it

R17 Kirtland (see comment about Ursuline)<<100% agree
(and yes at risk of being called a hater, I hope they don't make it)
R18 Liberty Center
R19 ???
R20 Pleasant 9but yes Coldwater is good!)

NYfan this is exactly why I cant say who the favorite is in R-19. I really know nothing about the teams you mentioned. I know this, you don't make the post season because your not good!

Valley and NY are turf teams. Both have 6'5 receivers, and Valley runs some spread. West will run the ball down your throat with a big line, and NY has a QB and TB both over 1,000 yards. And I know NY is only giving up 7 points a game to traditional playoff teams. We're very excited about this years teams down here.
